The Coalition of Wives of Presidents and Vice Presidents in Africa for Peace, COWAP, has honoured Nigerian international humanitarian organisation, Jose Foundation, for its efforts and philanthropic activities in championing the cause of women and children towards ending extreme poverty in Africa.

Kaduna — Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna has assented to the Child Welfare and Protection Law that was sent to him after it was passed into law by the State House of Assembly, the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hajiya Hafsat Baba has said.
