29 February 2016 – Government is set to introduce a Bill in Parliament that seeks to facilitate the speedy alignment of Marriage Laws and the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act to the Constitution, Women Affairs, Gender and Community Development Minister Nyasha Chikwinya has said. ICFP 2016: Family planning as a human right

25 January 2016 - On the shuttle bus from the airport I sat between a young woman from India and a young woman from Zimbabwe. Having travelled from three different corners of world, we all arrived ready to share our family planning knowledge and experiences while learning from others at the Fourth International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP). The United Nations recognises family planning as a human right and this week activists, advocates, humanitarians, health practitioners, private sector representatives and scholars from across the globe are together in Nusa Dua, Indonesia to discuss how this human right can go from being a lofty goal to a global norm.
