KHARTOUM, 26 September 2016 — Sudan will be the first country in the middle East to celebrate the launch of the 5year strategy for the health of mother, child and teenage, in line with the international strategy for the improvement of the health of mothers, children and teenagers and in realization of the commitment of the president of the republic to the strategy which he signed in September 2015, and which was declared by the United Nations.

10 May 2016 - The African Union-United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) has launched a campaign in west Darfur, Sudan, to raise awareness on the need to end the recruitment and use of child soldiers by armed forces and groups across the region.
