SOUTH SUDAN: Ministry to Bring Children From Khartoum Within 100 Days

The Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare will bring all South Sudanese children stranded in Khartoum to their motherland within the next 100 days.

This plan was revealed today by the minister, Hon Agnes Lasuba Kwaje during a meeting of senior staff in the ministry to set priorities for the 100 days programme announced by President Salva Kiir Mayardit last month.

The other priority is to set up three drop off centres for the homeless children in South Sudan including those who will be returned from Khartoum.

The ministry is also prioritizing the completion of the Rajaf School for the Blind, establishment of a national insurance facility, and streamlining of women empowerment projects in South Sudan.
